Write about an Event That Makes You Angry. Give reasons why the event makes you feel this way.

Based on the novel Dear Mr. Kilmer written by Anne Schraff, an event that makes me angry is when students bullies Hannah Schermer in school. I was furious about that event for three reasons.     One of the main reasons I was angry about that is because Hannah Schermer was called as a Dirty Hun by the students, mainly Abner, Harry and Blanche. They dislike Hannah just because she was born German but lives in America. I was mad when they said things about Hannah because they treat her like an outcast even though she's living in the same country as them. It is seen as a childish act to pick on someone just because their ethnicity is different from theirs.     Besides that, when Hannah was absent in school, the students didn't bother to sign the card. Richard is the only one who signs the card despite being threatened by other students. I was mad at this part because they are trying to make Hannah someone who doesn't deserve to be there. Their racism is what

ULBS.......     It has come again.     At least this is the last time I will see you.     Welcome back everyone and I am here to present about what I had learned from my awesome classmates' presentation for ULBS and also my own presentation. Without further ado, let's get it started ha! *if you know this reference I love you*     This year, for ULBS, our class teacher decides to make it 'fun' and 'different' than usual. This year, our ULBS focuses on our form 5 Literature. Everyone is team up into pairs and has to present different questions for "Dear Mr. Kilmer" that came out in SPM. Derrick and I got the 2008 question and we made our research before presenting it.     During the ULBS presentation week, each of us are supposed to present it and two groups are the main panels to judge them. Other students are required to comment about the other groups' answers. Our teacher also gave comments mainly for the answering technique, g

Free Topic - What I Love or Abhor about It

Image
Free Topic... do you like it? A: Yes. B: No. C: Maybe D: All of the above E: None     Hello everyone! I am back with another blog for today and as you can see, today's topic is kind of different than the usual because today we're going to talk about free topic. Yes, free topics.     Speaking of free topics, I like it and at the same time, I don't really like it. Well, I have my reasons on why I love free topics and the reasons I abhor about it. You could say I'm in the middle which I was like okay with it and sometimes, not really okay with it. I'm just like that. I'm fine with it but at certain times, I don't even want to think about free topics.     Why I love free topics? One of the reasons I love free topics is that I could talk about what I want to talk about without a prompt given. Everything that I want to talk about is typed without thinking of it as your mind has already prepare a prompt for the week. Writing free

Thesaurus Quiz

Hello guys! Today, I am going to talk about something that could be considered as 'interesting' because why not, right? Our teacher assigned my class to try out this  How Strong is Your Vocabulary?  and I decided to give it a shot.     At my first attempt, I managed to get 1/10 (this is really embarrassing but the fun part is that I know there are other words to represent the words that I know)     The words for the first round are quite hard because my vocabulary is six feet under. I am honestly very terrible with it but you know, when you make mistakes, you will learn from them and correct it.     So, this is my second attempt:     As you could see, I started to progress slowly and by the way, the words keep changing so I didn't expect the same words will appear. If so, it will be a very slim chance.     My third attempt of the quiz:     I started to get the hang of it and I realise this quiz is kinda fun when you understand the words. I le
